Following its expansion to Luzon, AboitizLand is moving its headquarters from Cebu City to Taguig in Manila by June.
AboitizLand President Andoni Aboitiz said the move to transfer the company’s headquarters to Manila is designed to open more opportunities for the group to view the landscape from a wider perspective and intensify its participation in nation building with increasing projects.
Set to bring the company to the national playing field, the Cebu-homegrown real estate developer will transfer to its new headquarters in Bonifacio Global City by first week of June. Its Cebu and Makati offices will still be operational.
With its biggest venture in Luzon, AboitizLand first announced in 2014 its national expansion with the full acquisition of Lima Land, Inc., developer and operator of the 485-hectare industrial park Lima Technology Center located in Lipa-Malvar, Batangas.
In 2016, AboitizLand revealed its expansion plans with the development of 83 hectares of land located in different areas in Luzon, specifically in Batangas, Tarlac, and Nueva Ecija. Recently, AboitizLand launched its first residential community outside of Cebu with Seafront Residences, a beachside community located in San Juan, Batangas.
While bullish on becoming a national player, AboitizLand maintains its foothold in Cebu with three large projects, including the recently launched Foressa Mountain Town in Balamban; Gatewalk Central, a mixed-use joint-venture with Ayala Land in Mandaue City; and a township project located in Liloan, Cebu.
Over the past 23 years, AboitizLand has built 23 communities, industrial, residential, and commercial combined, in more than 612 hectares of land in Cebu.
