ACI hires jobseekers on-the-spot at the Build, Build, Build Caravan

ACI Corporate Communications Team | September 5, 2018

Despite heavy rains and floods, jobseekers flocked to sign up at the booth of Aboitiz Construction, Inc. (ACI), which participated in the government’s Build Build Build Job Caravan held last August at the SMX Convention Hall, Pasay City.

We have in total of 190 applicants of which, 14 of them were considered as hired on-the-spot. They will be be deployed to our Republic Cement Project, Norzagaray Bulacan.

Based on the “Build, Build, Build” website, there are at least 18,000 positions open for job seekers as of this writing. ACI joined hundreds of construction companies that offered jobs for architects, engineers, finishing masons, finishing carpenters, heavy equipment operators, tile setters, and welders. ACI has job openings for skilled workers for its ongoing projects in the cement, power, and mining sectors.

ACI sees itself as a contributor to job generation in the construction sector, which is expected to support the massive infrastructure program of the Duterte administration.

We are very much proud of our capability to provide local jobs while we pursue our growth potential in the Engineering and Construction industry, allowing us to truly manifest the Aboitiz brand promise of Advancing Business and Communities.
