CitySavings held its first ever Capehan and Cabildo sa Bangko series last October 11 at City Sports Club, Cebu City and November 29 at 29/F UnionBank Plaza, Ortigas, Pasig City respectively. The team member engagement-oriented series focused on three of the five core values of the bank namely Integrity, Teamwork and Service.
“Values cannot be legislated. We have to believe it, live it, and apply it in our lives.”
–Mikel Aboitiz, Vice Chairman, City Savings Bank
CitySavings Board Member Romy Ronquillo and Corporate Secretary John Philip Posadas talked about how the Bank lives on the value of integrity by delivering its brand promise. Meanwhile, CitySavings President and CEO Lino Abacan pressed on how CitySavings bankers should work together in achieving their goals. Finally, Jose Levi Villanueva, EVP for Channel Management, refreshed team members on the Bank’s unique definition of service.
“I urge you, therefore, to lead a life worthy of the vocation to which you were called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, supporting each other in love. Take every care to preserve the unity of the Spirit that binds you together,” shared Abacan, quoting Ephesians 4:1-3.
The Bank sets to take the event to a wider audience next year with the inclusion of various support teams.
