As part of its support to the Department of Education’s (DepEd) K-12 program, Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. in partnership with the Aboitiz Foundation, formally turned over electrical laboratory tools to Sto. Tomas National High School (STNHS) on Jan. 10, 2018. The formal turnover ceremony was held at the STNHS, in the Municipality of Sto. Tomas, Davao del Norte.
The project, which is dubbed as electrical laboratory (e.Lab) Plus, aims to provide Electrical Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and additional tools and equipment for e.Labs being used for the Electrical Installation and Maintenance Course (EIM). These e.Labs are those that were donated by Davao Light and the Aboitiz Foundation to public high schools within its franchise.
