A different side of Aboitiz Construction at 2017 Recognition Night

Ronald Amodia | September 29, 2017

We saw a different Aboitiz Construction (ACI) at Radisson Blu during its Recognition Night on September 8. Some 445 kaubans from Mandaue, Balamban, Metro Manila and project sites and guests wore gowns, cocktail dresses, and suits.

Alberto A. Ignacio, Jr., ACI President and COO, warmly welcomed kaubans and guests to the highly anticipated event that carried the theme “Aspire. Collaborate. Influence”. As ACI opens its doors to new clients, embracing change becomes the organization’s mantra. Together, kaubans work to attain the vision of ACI to be the construction client’s first choice

“As ACI opens its doors to new clients, embracing change becomes the organization’s mantra. Together, kaubans work to attain the vision of ACI to be the construction client’s first choice,” said AAI.

As part of tradition, as opening salvo, new hires performed a cotillion dance. And while there were hundreds of stars in black or white, awarded as stars of the night were Joana Mata of the Executive Office and Raffy Manalansan of Business Development and Marketing.

Jim Aboitiz, ACI Chairman and CEO, in his message, mentioned the need for “individual and collective recognition as the company moves forward”, and to leverage on the Aboitiz name as an industry player.
