Pilmico, the Aboitiz Group’s food subsidiary, is proud to be a part of the everyday Filipino food products we have grown to love.
A local favorite, Lynnx Homemade Products was started by Marilyn Tendero from Loboc, Bohol. A mother of three, Marilyn loves to cook for her family and friends. She likes to create unique food products but did not have the capital and the confidence to enter the food processing industry.
However, because of her dedication, she was able to let other people sample her food by joining the all-women’s group KALIPI (Kalipunan ng Liping Pilipina).
Marilyn joining KALIPI paved the way for her to formally start her business, with KALIPI supporting her financially and providing her access to workshops and seminars to improve her craft.
Today, Lynnx is well-known for its Kalabasa Chips, Noodles and Pancit Canton. A proud user of Pilmico flour, Marilyn says her business grew further with the addition of these unique products and was even featured by the hit local TV show, “Biyahe ni Drew.”
Other homemade products offered by Lynnx are: Fermented Fruit Wine (Guyabano, Bugnay, Duhat), Spanish Sardines and Peanut Butter, Jams.
Marilyn’s homemade products were featured at the recent Mahalin Pagkaing Atin Food, Agri & Livelihood Expo in Tayasan, Negros Oriental.
With Marilyn’s dedication to her self-started livelihood, Lynnx fully embodies the values of Pilmico’s Mahalin Pagkaing Atin program, which seeks to instill a “pride of product, pride of place” mindset for our local consumers.
