Held annually at the beginning of the year, more than 100 Pilmico Partners came together for the Pilmico Feed Sales Convention on Feb. 6 to 7, 2018, in Henann Resort, Bohol.
With the theme, “Breaking records through providing solutions”, the Feed Sales Convention was attended by Pilmico’s Feeds Sales teams from across the Philippines to discuss the previous year’s sales performance, share best practices and lock in the sales target for 2018.
During the 2-day conference, category managers for swine, poultry, gamefowl, animal health and aqua gave a glimpse of product improvements and strategies for the upcoming year. A number of breakout meetings were also carried out which allowed sales managers from each region to discuss specific issues and solutions, based on their market location.
Francis Kong, one of the country’s premiere inspirational speakers, delivered the keynote message for the event. His talk centred on the topic, ‘Culture of Personal Excellence’ which emphasized the value of responsibility and persistence, two traits that he says will sustain the momentum of success for any organization.
Pilmico COO for Feeds, Norie Bermudez, in her closing remarks praised the hard work of the Feeds Sales team and gave advice on how to approach the upcoming year. She said:
“As a team, we were subjected to challenges in 2017. And as a team, together, we were able to surpass those challenges and have created our winnings and our history – our Pilmico Feeds history.
For 2018, please remember that the minute we put ‘hitting our target’ or ‘basta makabenta na’ as our priority, we will not achieve our objective. We must always educate farmers in order to be a true total solutions provider – this is the only way we will succeed.”
