Republic Cement’s plants, situated in Norzagaray, Bulacan, were lauded by the Municipality Government during the 1st State of the Municipal Address (SOMA) delivered by Norzagaray Mayor Ade Cristobal.
Republic Cement’s two plants, the Norzagaray plant and the Bulacan plant, were recognized for ranking among the top ten taxpayers in the municipality for the previous year 2017.

“This is why we have been playing an active role as a development catalyst in the community not only through employment, but also through our Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), as well Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives,” added Jaque,who received the plaque of appreciation on behalf of the company.
The awarding was attended by different representatives from the academe, people organizations and private firms. Mayor Ade stressed the importance of the private sector as key contributor to the progress of the municipality.
Republic Cement is set to expand capacity for its Norzagaray and Bulacan plants in the next two years, as part of its initial $300m investment plan.
