Key executives of the Aboitiz Group and TESDA-RTC recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement to implement the Masonry Skills Training project for the San Pedro Multipurpose Cooperative (MPC).
With this project, 25 indigent individuals who are members of the San Pedro MPC will undergo 258 hours of training on masonry and the successful graduates will receive Certificates of Competency and National Certificate II.
An initiative of the AboitizLand, in partnership with the Aboitiz Foundation and AP Renewables in MakBan, this Masonry Skills Training project aims to equip communities with the necessary skills to provide more career opportunities to its beneficiaries. Each business unit has its shared commitment for the endeavor. Aboitiz Foundation together with TESDA-RTC will provide the training, certification, and assessment while AboitizLand will donate Masonry starter kits for the beneficiaries identified by AboitizPower.

Training and assessment will be held at TESDA-Batangas Regional Training Center this April 14, 2018. Certified individuals will be expected to work at AboitizLand’s ongoing projects in Lima Technology Center – The Outlets at Lipa and Lima Residential.
