Therma Visayas, Inc. (TVI) continued to deliver on its promise to improve living conditions in its host communities, particularly in Toledo City, Cebu. Together with Aboitiz Foundation, the company recently turned over a health center in Brgy. Awihao, an upland village located about seven kilometers from the Toledo City center. The facility will provide emergency health services to Awihao’s 2,000 residents.
“Health is one of our priorities and the health center is a big help, especially among the indigent residents. We are privileged to have TVI in the community,†said Awihao Barangay Chairperson Leonita Birao.
TVI, a subsidiary of Aboitiz Power Corporation and Vivant Corporation, is building a 340-megawatt base load power plant in Toledo City. TVI turned over a health center in Brgy. Bato in 2014 and, this year, will build another health center in Cabitoonan.
