From world-class to ‘Partners for Growth’

The story of Pilmico since it embarked on its Partners For Growth journey demonstrates the effective interplay of culture and brand in achieving a business goal. 

The Partners for Growth battle cry charted new goals that are defined in both quantitative and qualitative terms. It also spinned off the “Double in Five Years” targets. The Brand team took charge of campaigns, while the Human Resources team took care of the culture-building and engagement programs.

Every second Friday of the month, at exactly 3:55PM, the Pilmico jingle starts to play. Suddenly, the entire floor will be filled with laughter and the energetic sound of their clappers. It is Fun Theme Friday, the signature Pilmico activity that reflects the organization’s culture, shaped by the ‘Partners for Growth’ mindset.

While other people might view this as a vanilla activity, Pilmico is able to harness its talents’ energy and drive to contribute to the company’s bottom line. As a matter of fact, the “Double in Five Years” target was achieved in just 3 years. Pilmico’s practice is contributing to the Aboitiz way of harnessing human capital to attain business goals.
