Aboitiz InfraCapital Strengthens Ease of Doing Business in Lipa with PinasBilis eBoss Package Turnover

Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates and Aboitiz Land, Inc., turn over to the City Permits and Licensing Office of Lipa ten computer sets and five printers as part of the Aboitiz Group’s commitment to contribute to enhancing the efficiency and ease of doing business in Lipa.

Lipa, Batangas – Aboitiz InfraCapital, in collaboration with Aboitiz Land, Aboitiz Foundation, and the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA), recently turned over a PinasBilis eBoss Package to the Lipa City Permits and Licensing Office. The package, comprising 10 computer sets and 5 printers, is part of the PinasBilis Program, which champions quick, responsive, and citizen-centric governance.

The PinasBilis program champions the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Act by streamlining processes and eliminating bureaucratic inefficiencies. Since its launch in 2022, PinasBilis has empowered over 150 Ease of Doing Business champions from more than 20 national government agencies and local government units (LGUs), equipping them to drive meaningful reform and enhance public service delivery.

The Aboitiz Group, through Aboitiz InfraCapital, plays a pivotal role in driving investments and enhancing the ease of doing business in Batangas. Aboitiz InfraCapital’s flagship Economic Estate, the 1,000-hectare LIMA Estate in Lipa-Malvar, has become a catalyst for growth, attracting over 180 business leaders and generating more than 75,000 jobs for Filipinos over the past 26 years. At the heart of this progress is the 70-hectare Biz Hub at LIMA Estate, the first masterplanned business district in Batangas, which offers a holistic ecosystem designed to make it easier for local and international locators to establish and operate their businesses.

LIMA Estate, a 1,000-hectare industrial-anchored development in Batangas, sets the world-class standard for a thriving business environment. LIMA has been instrumental in nation-building, facilitating significant business investments into Batangas, and driving economic growth that strengthens the region’s global competitiveness.

Biz Hub is poised to welcome a diverse mix of industries, including the rapidly growing IT-BPM sector, through its commercial lots and premium office spaces like LIMA Tower One. These developments are reshaping Batangas into a prime destination for high-value global industries seeking expansion outside Metro Manila. As Batangas continues to rise as a leading hub for economic growth, fostering public-private partnerships remains critical to creating a vibrant and business-friendly environment that drives sustainable progress.

Batangas has experienced remarkable growth, driven in large part by developments like LIMA Estate, which has attracted over Php 112 billion in Foreign Direct Investments, contributed USD 2.6 billion in exports in 2023 alone, and generated 75,000 jobs beyond Metro Manila. Building on this success, initiatives like Project PinasBilis are set to further propel the city’s progress by streamlining government services and local processes. The synergy between LIMA Estate’s infrastructure investments and initiatives like PinasBilis will not only attract more businesses and investments but also enhance the quality of life for Batangas residents, showcasing a commitment to sustainable economic growth and nation-building.

As the Philippines continues to strive for economic growth and development, initiatives like Project PinasBilis are crucial in creating a more efficient and competitive business environment. By investing in technology, capacity-building, and world-class infrastructure, the government—in partnership with private sector players—can unlock the full potential of the country’s economic productivity and drive sustainable development.
