CitySavings remains committed to enhancing the quality of basic education and recently completed classroom renovation projects across multiple provinces to help create more conducive learning environments for students.

CitySavings assisted in repairing six classrooms at Oas East Central School in Albay province. The classrooms will be used by the school’s kindergarten, Grade 2, and Grade 6 students.

“It has always been the noble goal of our institution to provide a quality environment where our learners are safe and motivated to learn. And we are truly grateful that City Savings Bank has been with us to realize our goal,” shared Oas East Central School Principal Marcel Renolayan.

CitySavings Baguio Branch joins DepEd and other stakeholders at the turnover of the two-storey classroom at Lucban Elementary School, Baguio City, Benguet.

At Lucban Elementary School in Baguio City, Benguet and Agoo East Central School in La Union, CitySavings donated building materials to improve classrooms for the Special Education Needs department and a two-storey classroom, respectively. This contribution has transformed and expanded learning spaces, benefiting more learners who previously faced challenging conditions.

“At CitySavings, we believe that a conducive learning environment is crucial for students’ success. By renovating and improving classrooms across the Philippines, we’re not just upgrading facilities but also investing in the future of our nation’s youth,” shared CitySavings CSR and Sustainability Head Paula Ruelan.

In Negros Oriental, CitySavings, in collaboration with the local government unit (LGU) of Canlaon City, supported the Kindergarten Makeshift Building Project at Pinamentigan Elementary School. The Bank donated construction materials, while the LGU covered labor expenses.

“This project will provide a safe and conducive learning environment for our young learners, ensuring they have the best possible start to their education journey. CitySavings’ unwavering commitment to improving education in our community is truly commendable. This contribution has not only transformed the physical infrastructure of our school but also uplifted the spirits of our learners and teachers,” said Pinamentigan Elementary School Principal Jeneveive Ellen Moñon.

These projects exemplify CitySavings’ dedicated support for education initiatives, particularly in providing conducive teaching-learning spaces, making a tangible difference in the lives of students and educators alike.
