In my opinion, realism first before what we want to put on below.

They are not near our culture—in some cases, very far.

We can improve quite easily but first we need to understand them.

This conversation we did not hold: how far are we willing to go?

I suggest we understand this first before the curtains are raised.

The vibrancy of the whole ecosystem for VC, tech, etc, is amazing. They compete and yet they cooperate. Everyone we had exposure to showed a level of enthusiasm, commitment, and pride that I have never seen before.

Compared to the Silicon Valley, there are more companies that we can potentially work with for:

a. Application - to use their product/service for our own business
b. Partnership - to sell their product in the Philippines/Asia
c. Investment - in the companies we also work with for application, partnership, or in businesses would consider getting into

These companies are more eager to work with us than Silicon Valley firms. We should, therefore, spend more effort in this country.
