The European Crisis: What Is It Really About?

Over the past 500 years, Europe has lived off its colonies — taking from them and selling to them. We go to war twice and twice we asked the Americans to go get us out of the mess we find ourselves in. Then after World War II, the Americans, for their own interest, rebuild us and Japan by giving us money, buying our goods, protecting our trade, and coming to visit us.

Wishes for the economy in 2017

As we welcome the new year, it is good to note that business confidence in the Philippines remains high despite “political noise” and uncertainties here and abroad. This is grounded on solid economic fundamentals, resiliency of the economy, and faith in an empowered economic team heading the DoF, NEDA, DBM, and DTI.

Our whole team has to focus on this effort. Selling and building relationships is a function we all have to participate in. Our sales team has to take the lead but we have to make sure our business units are aware of it, will participate, and will contribute to our selling effort. Our support units can contribute as well. We are 1AP, and as one team, let us unite, help each other, and operate as a homogeneous unit.
