Over the past year of behaving like a techglomerate, our commitment has been focused on refining work processes, with the goal of nurturing and empowering our most valuable asset – our A-People. After all, they remain to be the potent force shaping our future.
Take a look at some of the outstanding strides we’ve achieved together in human capital development for our A-People:
Upskilling and Capability Building
We fueled minds with LinkedIn Learning, sparked #LearningLunes sessions, and empowered leaders through Board Learning to reinforce GT norms.
Igniting our A-People’s growth, we offered opportunities through our Educational Assistance Program and budget trainings, opening doors to degrees, courses, certifications, or licenses relevant to their roles.
The Culture Tribe, composed of team members and leaders across the Aboitiz Group, successfully rolled out programs relative to the following mission-based squads: (1) Shared Behavior and Mindsets, (2) Techglomerate Capabilities, and (3) Agile Innovation & Ways of Working.
Through Aboitiz Academy, the tribe launched the Aboitiz Agile Champion (Scrum Chapter), Data Science Bootcamp, and the A+10 Behaviors Assessment, to name a few.
Succession Planning and Internal Mobility
We consistently assessed evolving roles and capabilities through strategic workforce planning.
Empowering talent mobility, we enabled seamless inter-business unit transfers for A-People eager to broaden their skills within the organization.
Innovation, Agility, and Process Improvement
We refined processes based on A-People feedback, introducing a team scorecard, enhancing benefits, and centralizing internal communications and policies through our smart AI People bot.
Health and Wellness
We continuously promoted good overall well-being through our hybrid working model, power-down hours, and renewed partnership with our mental health platform partner.
Community Engagement
We actively participated in outreach programs organized by Aboitiz Foundation, demonstrating our commitment to teamwork and community welfare.
