Isn’t it almost every kid’s wish to experience Disneyland? To meet and greet their favorite character and dress-up like them? For this year’s annual Trick or Treat, that wish was our command.
Our Disney-themed office trick or treat last October 25 was celebrated by Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Aboitiz Construction, Aboitiz Foundation, WeatherPhilippines, AboitizLand, AboitizPower, and Pilmico. It was like a mini-reunion at the House of Mouse!
Caf8 was the first stop where free ice cream, a face painting activity by A-Club Likhaan, an art room, and photo booth kept the little heroes entertained as they waited for their turn to head up to the different floors. Representatives from Mind Museum, one of our A-Corporate Partners, also dropped by to share some activities and freebies to the kids.
Each participating team flaunted their chosen Disney movie floor design and costumes as kids explored the results of creativity and team work. A-People also handed out sweet treats and prepared games and activities for the guests.
In Cebu, the Corporate Center took trick or treating to the next level of fun and energy with a special performance by Aboitiz team members dressed up as characters from Disney’s Frozen. Food carts also gave the kids extra treats.
Trick-or-treating need not be a scare-and-scream event but a celebration of creativity in an enjoyable atmosphere in the workplace. It is also an opportunity for our values to shine through such as teamwork as showcased in the Best in Floor Design award!
What made the day even more special is that team members were able to bond with their kids at work and introduce them to their co-workers. Moments like these will forever be embedded in a kid’s memories. That is why it is important to enjoy activities that can help nurture relationships within the group and within families.
