As Aboitiz Group continues to make a difference in the communities they serve, our A-People commit to live out the values of the Aboitiz Way in their personal lives.
In partnership with Red Cross, more than a hundred employees from Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Aboitiz Construction, AboitizLand, AboitizPower (1AP), Pilmico, and Republic Cement participated in a bloodletting activity.
One blood donation has a potential ripple effect of saving three lives, according to the American National Red Cross. Beyond the obvious benefits to the recipient, the process also benefits the donor by helping him shed extra calories and reducing blood cholesterol level.
Even volunteers who were fearful of needles found the courage to participate in the activity, leading to a strong volunteer turnout.

The bloodletting drive was able to raise blood from a total of 68 blood donors, higher than last year’s turnout. A-People were able to collectively donate more than 30,000 cc/ml of blood.
Thanks to its strong commitment to support the activities of the PRC, the company received a Certificate of Appreciation for promoting blood services. Guided by our Core Value of Responsibility, Aboitiz continues to advance business and communities with compassion and commitment.
