Republic Cement Bags Major Awards at the 71st ANMSEC

Republic Cement proudly received multiple honors at the 71st Annual National Mine Safety and Environment Conference (ANMSEC), hosted by the Philippine Mine Safety and Environment Association (PMSEA) at the CAP-John Hay Trade and Cultural Center in Baguio City. These recognitions underscore our unwavering commitment to Safety and our core value of Lifelong Sustainability, which guide every aspect of our operations.

Taking home eight awards overall—including three Presidential Mineral Industry Environmental Awards (PMIEA)—Republic Cement reaffirms its role as a trusted partner in building a safer and more sustainable future. Our Bulacan, Batangas, and Iligan Plants earned the PMIEA for Quarry Operations, the highest honor in the category, while Teresa Plant achieved the Platinum Achievement Award.

Safety remains at the heart of what we do. Bulacan Plant was distinguished as the Safest Quarry, a reflection of our comprehensive safety programs and initiatives that protect our people and communities.

Equally important, our dedication to Lifelong Sustainability was recognized through environmental achievements. Bulacan Plant won the Best Mining Forest Award, while Iligan and Teresa Plants were named runners-up. These awards are proof of our ongoing efforts to preserve biodiversity and rehabilitate mined areas for future generations.

We remain committed to advancing safety, sustainability, and environmental stewardship across all our operations. These recognitions inspire us to further innovate and strengthen our practices as we work toward building a greener, stronger Republic for generations to come.
