Recently, a total of 168 hatchlings emerged from nest # 6 at the Aboitiz Cleanergy Park. These hatchlings were immediately released led by Davao Light’s President, Jim Aboitiz, who was joined by Davao Light EVP and COO, Rodger Velasco.
The releasing event was witnessed by the barangay, different organizations, individuals and Davao Light Kaibigans who support our Pawikan Conservation efforts.
In October, the Park also validated nests # 9 and 10 for 2017. With the sixth nest hatched, four more remain incubated. Year to date, the Park has released 953 hatchlings.
