Representatives from different electric cooperatives in West Mindanao learned the fundamentals of effective print and radio communications through workshops presented by AboitizPower on October 9 and 10, 2017, held in Dipolog City and Pagadian City, respectively.
Already partners in delivering power to consumers, AboitizPower and a select group of electric cooperatives in Mindanao are raising our cooperation to a whole new level.
Workshop participants, 44 in all, included employees of Zamboanga del Norte Electric Cooperative (ZANECO), Misamis Occidental I Electric Cooperative (MOELCI 1), Zamboanga del Sur I Electric Cooperative (ZAMSURECO 1), Zamboanga del Sur II Electric Cooperative (ZAMSURECO 2), and Zamboanga Electric Cooperative (ZAMCELCO).
In a post-event letter to AboitizPower, MOELCI 1 General Manager Ruben Bonalos said: “Without a doubt, the workshop will play a pivotal role in how we will provide and relay information to all our constituents.”
The partnership will greatly help in educating co-op members on their electric power supply as well as their role as consumers. The program itself will enlighten them on the critical role of AboitizPower in providing reliable and cost-effective power to businesses and households in their communities.
