Since 2014, over a thousand educators from the Department of Education (DepEd) hailing from various regions experienced Project Synergy, a values integration and leadership training program by City Savings Bank (CitySavings) in partnership with the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. – Kool Adventure Camp (RAFI KAC).
As a leader, I learned a lot of significant skills from this training and I’m glad that CitySavings gave me this opportunity to expand my knowledge and inspire my colleagues.

This signature Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of the bank aims to transform educators into proactive leaders through experiential learning at RAFI KAC in Balamban, Cebu – the first and only fully dedicated Adventure Education Center in the Philippines.
During one of the engagements, RAFI KAC Facilitator Leo Urpiana spoke to a group of educators about leadership and paying it forward, “This is a professional development program designed for people like you. Project Synergy gives you the chance to connect with other leaders and share best practices. Ultimately, we want you to bring positive change in your schools”.

Sorsogon Schools Division Superintendent Loida Nidea highlighted her unique experience at Kool Adventure Camp, “It was a one of a kind opportunity that enabled me to look back on my leadership skills and inner strengths as a leader”.
To date, CitySavings has fulfilled its purpose of advancing business and communities by empowering educators to drive change in their respective communities.
