AEV Enterprise Risk Manager Lean Lumabas was named a Finalist and secured 2nd Overall Place in the recently concluded PARIMA Next-Gen Risk Takers (Manila Stop).
The competition recognizes emerging risk professionals who demonstrate innovation, leadership, and impact in advancing risk management practices within their organizations.
Representing AEV, she presented a thought leadership piece entitled “Making Risk Work: Bridging Frameworks and Decisions,” which showcased AEV’s efforts in strengthening risk culture, simplifying risk management processes, and making risk practices more practical and actionable across the organization.
A key feature of the presentation was Project SPARK, an AEV-wide initiative focused on enhancing usability within the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process. The project enhanced the Risk Management Template by integrating a clearer risk taxonomy and AI-enabled features to support more intuitive risk identification and assessment.

The presentation also highlighted AEV’s principle that “Everybody is a Risk Manager,” emphasizing the importance of embedding risk awareness and ownership across all team members and reinforcing that effective risk management is a shared organizational responsibility.
In addition to ERM initiatives, she shared AEV’s ongoing efforts to strengthen organizational resilience. Supporting her expanded responsibilities in Business Continuity Management (BCM), she recently obtained the Certified Business Continuity Institute (CBCI) certification to further align AEV’s resilience practices with global standards.
Lean’s recognition in the competition reflects AEV’s continued commitment to building a proactive, collaborative, and forward-looking risk culture that supports better decision-making and long-term value creation for stakeholders.
This achievement is a testament not only to individual excellence, but also to AEV’s ongoing efforts to strengthen risk and resilience capabilities across the organization and develop holistic risk managers—professionals that connect risk management, resilience, and strategic decision-making to help the organization navigate uncertainty and create sustainable value.
