La Filipina Uy Gongco Corporation is WeatherPhilippines’s newest platinum sponsor, providing a big boost to the advocacy of helping create a #WeatherWiser nation. The agro-industrial giant will help in developing weather-related programs and services that will address the needs of agricultural communities.
The partnership was formalized last July 26 in a ceremony at NAC Tower, Bonifacio Global City led by WeatherPhilippines Chairman Sabin M. Aboitiz and La Filipina Uy Gongco Chairman Alfonso A. Uy.
As platinum sponsor, La Filipina Uy Gongco has pledged to donate around P35 million over the next 10 years to enable WeatherPhilippines to sustain its operations and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Aileen Ongkauko, La Filipina Uy Gongco President, will also be joining WeatherPhilippines’ Board of Advisors.
