The Davao City government on March 13 recognized the Aboitiz Cleanergy Park for its for its invaluable and unwavering support in the field of Environment & Beautification.
During the Pasidungog: Garbo sa Dabaw (Recognition: Pride of Davao) program, City Administrator Atty. Zuleika Lopez handed a certificate of appreciation and a token to Davao Light Assistant Vice President for Customer Retail Services Arnold Arsolon and Davao Light Community Relations Manager Fermin Edillon.
The Cleanergy Park is an eight-hectare outdoor biodiversity park jointly managed by the Aboitiz Foundation and Davao Light. It is also home to various wildlife and is fast becoming a sanctuary for birds, as well as one of the country’s few nesting sites for the critically endangered Hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) and 66 other species.
