This year’s Risk Awareness Week brought together A-People to strengthen their understanding of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Business Continuity Management (BCM), and Risk Finance through a series of learning sessions, interactive activities, and games.
Participants gained insights on emerging risks, objective-based risk identification, business continuity planning, crisis management, insurance coverage, and road safety. These sessions reinforced the importance of proactively identifying and managing risks to support business objectives and organizational resilience.
To make learning more engaging, employees participated in activities such as the ERM Risk Word Challenge, BCM Ready: Decide, Prepare, Continue!, and the Risk Finance Spot the Hazards Challenge, while also exploring emergency preparedness through the Emergency Bag Supplier Booth.
The week also introduced the ‘I’m a Risk Manager’ badge, recognizing A-People who demonstrate a risk-aware mindset, proactive ownership, and sound judgment in their daily work.

To continue the journey beyond Risk Awareness Week, AEV Risk Management Team launched the Risk Management Microsite, a central hub for ERM, BCM, and Risk Finance resources, learning sessions, and updates. In addition, Risk Management is now live in the AEV Unified Helpdesk, providing employees with a dedicated channel for risk-related inquiries, support, and service requests.
As AEV continues to navigate an increasingly dynamic environment, Risk Awareness Week reinforced a simple but important message: Everybody is a Risk Manager. By embedding risk awareness into everyday decisions, we strengthen resilience, protect value, and support the achievement of our strategic objectives.
