Keeping in step with the company’s digital transformation, the Aboitiz Investor Relations office, for the very first time, hosted a live webcast of its quarterly analysts’ briefing.

Held at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel on March 8, 2017, the event was attended by approximately 91 particpants, including bankers, analysts, and Aboitiz executives and staff. Apart from those who were physically present in the venue, there were 29 guests who were given the opportunity to join in via webcast through Agora, 22 of which were from Aboitiz in the Philippines and seven participants from abroad. Those who streamed the briefing were also able to send in their questions during the Q&A segment.
The presenting panel at the briefing comprised AboitizPower President and COO Antonio Moraza, UnionBank Chairman and CEO Justo Ortiz, Pilmico President and CEO Sabin Aboitiz, AboitizLand President and COO Patrick Reyes, and Aboitiz Equity Ventures Senior Vice President and CFO Manuel Lozano.
The event was a discussion of the company’s annual results for full year 2016, and with the help of the livestream, the Investor Relations office was able to extend the reach of the briefing to more people, providing seamless communication of the company’s performance.
