- The leaders’ assembly marked the 100 days of being a CRH-Aboitiz company
- A bigger platform to “Make-Sell-Move†becomes the battle cry for its bid to become world-class
Having successfully completed its first 100 days as a CRH-Aboitiz company, the Republic Cement team kicked off 2016 with close to 200 managers and executives joining the Annual Managers Meeting at Solaire Hotel on January 22 with the theme “Accelerating to World-Classâ€.
Country CEO Don H. Lee recognized team members for their exceptional leadership before summarizing the 2015 performance and discussing the 2016 business outlook. “As an experienced leadership team that has already tasted success, we have an acute understanding for the effort, perseverance, commitment, determination, and teamwork that are required to achieve the success that other people admire. Let us continue to set our goals high, be persistent, know what risks to take, learn from failures, work hard — and never give up!†he said.
In keeping with the focus to “make-sell-moveâ€, Republic Cement leaders also shared their strategic priorities for the year and facilitated workshops on Leadership Competencies and Best Practices. The day ended with a special awarding ceremony recognizing excellent performance of employees for year 2015.
