AP Renewables, Inc. (APRI) invited WeatherPhilippines to give a talk on the topic of El Niño at its quarterly stakeholders meeting last March. The discussion provided communities with information on how to best utilize localized weather knowledge for long-term planning and informed decision-making.
WeatherPhilippines also presented its El Niño Report to aid local governments in assessing its economic impact this year, particularly on agriculture, business, and disasters.
Although the currentEl Niño phenomenon will gradually weaken over the next few months, it is important for local g social and an economic perspective, to come up with better sustainable community solutions.
