Davao Light unveils 100 MVA Don Ramon substation

The rapid growth of commercial and industrial loads in the northern sector of Davao City has driven the development of Davao Light and Power Co. Inc.’s Don Ramon Substation. The newly upgraded substation has an additional capacity of 100MVA, making its overall capacity to 200MVA. This newly commissioned capacity upgrade was inaugurated on July 5, 2017 in Brgy. Bunawan, Davao City. This will serve the increasing demand of electricity in the northern part of the Davao Light’s franchise.

Present during the ceremony were National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) representatives headed by Engr. Cris Galarrita and Engr. Eliezer Bandala together with the Davao Light employees composed of team leaders and team members.
