Hedcor was top honoree at the annual Kapatiran sa Industriya (KAPATID) Awards ceremony presented by the Employers Confederation of the Philippines. Out of 10 finalists, the company was chosen as ‘Employer of the Year’ for being a model organization in promoting strong partnerships between its workers and management.

In addition to being at the forefront of developing and operating run-of-river hydropower for nearly four decades, Hedcor’s Labor Management Kabisig Council continues to be an example of effective management of issues between the company and its employees.

Hedcor first became a finalist at the KAPATID AWARDS in 2011 has since won in the ‘Industrial Peace and Harmony’ in 2013 and in the ‘Social Accountability’, ‘Industrial Peace & Harmony’, and ‘Strategic Visioning and Partnering for Business Growth and Job Generation’ in 2015.
