CitySavings Brings Back The #NoImpactChallenge

CitySavings mounted its #NoImpactChallenge, an internal bank-wide competition designed to inspire our A-People to weave eco-friendly choices into their daily lives, fostering personal well-being while treading lightly on our planet.

This campaign is all about empowering our team members to champion the Group’s sustainability mindset at work and home – aligned with Carbon Emissions Reduction in the Planet pillar, people engagement in the People pillar, and eco-efficiency in the Purpose pillar. It’s not just a challenge, it’s a rallying call for every Aboitiz team member to make impactful lifestyle changes and spark environmental conversations within their social circles.

After four weeks of dedicated effort, participating team members have successfully crossed the finish line, marking a significant milestone in the Group’s collective journey towards sustainability. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all participants and winners whose commitment and enthusiasm have been truly inspiring. Now, let’s dive into the exciting journey and see how they conquered every challenge!

WEEK 1: Health and Wellness

WEEK 2: Energy Conservation

WEEK 3: Water Conservation

WEEK 4: Waste Depletion

Throughout the challenge, they not only enjoyed engaging tasks but also gained valuable insights into living a more eco-conscious life. The collective impact achieved during this period is remarkable — 32,215,358 grams of CO2 emissions were avoided, equivalent to planting 1,478 trees*.

The journey toward a greener, more sustainable lifestyle doesn’t conclude with the #NoImpactChallenge. CitySavings team members are encouraged to apply the knowledge gained and continue making environmentally conscious choices. The ripple effect of this collective effort promises a lasting impact on our future.

*Note: The tree planting equivalent is a simplified estimate, and the actual number of trees planted can vary depending on several factors, including the type and age of the trees and the specific conditions in which they are planted.
