On its 21st anniversary, the Bureau of Internal Revenue Large Taxpayers Division (BIR LTD) – Cebu awarded Cebu’s top tax contributors for CY 2022. The government agency has recognized CitySavings’ invaluable contribution to the country’s economic development efforts.
Receiving the award on behalf of the Bank last March 3, 2023 was VP – Financial and Regulatory Reporting, Insurance, and Tax Head Solomon Tio.
In his message, Tio shared “With or without recognition, CitySavings will continue to be a good corporate citizen, adhere to good governance practices, and give back to the community we are serving, guided by our core values of integrity, magis, and ubuntu”.
“The tough times are not yet over, as we are still reeling from the adverse impacts of COVID-19. But I’m confident that the taxes we pay will translate to an even faster and more inclusive economic growth and recovery”, he further added.
