ACI PLUS, the maintenance arm of Aboitiz Construction, continues to expand its services across Mindanao, taking over continuous operational, mechanical, electrical, and facility support for select AboitizPower generation assets.
The expanded portfolio covers long-term contracts with AboitizPower subsidiaries Therma South, Inc. (TSI) in Davao City and Therma Marine, Inc. (TMI) in Maco, Davao de Oro, and Nasipit, Agusan del Norte.
Under a three-year agreement from 2024 to 2027, ACI PLUS provides technical expertise, manpower, tools, and supervision for preventive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance at TSI, where it launched routine services in November 2025 and non-technical maintenance in February 2026.
Meanwhile, three-year contracts from 2025 to 2028 were secured for TMI’s mobile power facilities in Nasipit and Maco. At TMI Nasipit, ACI PLUS manages mechanical, electrical, auxiliary, and technical cleaning works, while serving as the primary operations and maintenance manpower complement at TMI Maco

To support operations across all three locations, Aboitiz Construction hired over 100 workers, with a significant majority recruited directly from the host communities.
Emphasizing operational excellence and site safety, the combined maintenance team across the TSI Davao, TMI Nasipit, and TMI Maco sites achieved nearly 400,000 safe man-hours without lost-time injury from November 2025 to July 2026.
ACI PLUS continues to deliver specialized, industry-specific services. These include preventive and corrective maintenance, facilities management, and asset lifecycle support for critical infrastructure and industrial facilities.
