Congratulations: Batch 76 of the Elevate AIDA Program during their graduation ceremony held at the VECO Learning Hub in Cebu City
Visayan Electric and Aboitiz Foundation, in collaboration with Connected Women, recently celebrated the graduation of 49 beneficiaries from the 76th batch of the Elevate AIDA (Artificial Intelligence and Data Annotation) program.
Elevate AIDA is an intensive three-week course that equips participants with critical digital skills, specifically data annotating for the AI industry. The initiative prepares women, including unemployed mothers, persons with disabilities, displaced workers, and senior citizens, for remote, home-based career opportunities.
The graduation ceremony highlighted the program’s community impact, as many graduates were joined by their children to celebrate the milestone. This underscores Visayan Electric’s commitment to uplifting vulnerable sectors by providing sustainable pathways to the digital economy.
“I am grateful to the program for providing me with relevant digital skills and allowing me to keep up with the trends,” said Dahlia Basa, one of the 49 graduates.
Present during the event were Visayan Electric’s Reputation Enhancement Manager Quennie Bronce; SAVP for Engineering Technical Support Group of Visayan Electric Engr. Nico Arancillo, Connected Women CEO Agnes Gervacio; and Aboitiz Foundation Impact Lead for Jobs JR Roque.

This graduation marks only the beginning of the journey. In the coming days, the graduates will transition into specialized training focused on professional branding, learning to build LinkedIn profiles, polish job applications, and navigate the remote job market to find roles that align with their new skill sets.
