Throughout the Year of “Becoming”, Culture Pillar Squad 1 has sharpened its efforts to foster an organization-wide culture shift, keeping the team focused on a shared vision of becoming the first Philippine techglomerate.
This year, we have deepened our initiatives to cultivate a unified mindset, amplifying the capabilities needed for articulating our Transformation success stories, and embedding behaviors that drive our tech-driven aspirations. Let’s look back at Squad 1’s Year 2 achievements, rounding up the Culture Tribe Year 2 Retrospective series.
Mindset and Behavior Alignment with HATs Assessment
The A+10 HATS Coaching Program for leaders continued, which included the individual and group coaching sessions aimed at reinforcing A+10 behaviors. The program featured a comprehensive A+10 guide for coaches, providing essential insights into each behavior, along with a Group Coaching Train the Trainer session and Facilitator Manual to support effective, structured coaching, whether done individually or in groups. This initiative has equipped leaders with the tools and understanding necessary to embody and promote the A+10 culture across their teams.
Executives are encouraged to include interventions and areas for development related to A+10 in their individual development plan to be more effective leaders and positively contribute to organizational culture and business success.
Empowering Middle Managers
Culture Tribe presented the Behavior Talks Playbook, a guide for middle managers to drive cultural transformation by engaging in conversations around A+10 behaviors. With AEV and AP leading the way, having launched their own Behavior Talks, middle managers are encouraged to join this initiative, exploring behaviors, addressing challenges, and generating ideas for a vibrant, collaborative workplace. The playbook includes resources for self-led sessions, with design-thinking workshops and “Pitch Day” presentations to support innovative culture-building.




Our GT Storytelling Continues
Inspiring stories of transformation emerged across the organization, shared through our storytelling initiative and highlighted in GT Caravans. These narratives, reflecting both individual and collective transformation journeys, underscore the impact of our GT2025 goals and embody our aspirations for sustainable growth and inclusive development.
The GT Storytelling Workshop is designed to enhance storytelling skills among GT Storytellers, equipping them to share the Great Transformation’s journey in ways that resonate and inspire. Through the workshop, participants develop techniques to craft impactful narratives that bring GT2025’s vision to life, highlighting transformation successes and embodying A+10 behaviors. As of today, three batches have successfully completed the workshop, building a robust network of storytellers to drive cultural alignment across the organization.





In our previous series of SuperDuper Con, GT Storytellers shared inspiring accounts of A-People on their transformation journeys, showcasing how they embodied the A+10 behaviors. These stories highlighted real experiences of resilience, innovation, personal and career growth, and commitment to Aboitiz’s transformation vision, bringing the Great Transformation to life and reinforcing a culture of growth and adaptability across the organization.

Supporting GT Caravans
The GT Caravans bring the Great Transformation (GT) and Culture Pillar initiatives to various business units starting with Petnet, Aboitiz Construction, SNAP, and AP. In collaboration with the Transformation Team, these sessions dive into GT journey, A+10 behaviors, and cultural priorities, fostering alignment and engagement across teams. With additional caravans scheduled, this initiative drives connection and momentum toward Aboitiz’s transformation aspirations.


Looking Forward
360-Degree A+10 Tool
Building on last year’s initiatives, the squad intended to develop a 360-degree tool and initiated this through the refinement of the A+10 Behaviors statements, ensuring they resonate with how each team member can assess demonstration of each behavior. This refinement process will not only clarify what these behaviors mean, but is aiming to spark meaningful actions across teams, encouraging leaders and members alike to embrace and exemplify these transformation-driven behaviors.
Ultimately, Culture Pillar Squad 1 remains dedicated to transforming the way we work, think, and innovate. As we prepare for 2025, the whole Culture Pillar is energized by the progress made and the continued commitment of each team member to driving our techglomerate vision forward.
