The unceasing drive to develop communities brought Hedcor and its host municipalities in Luzon and Mindanao to welcome another long list of corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects this year.
Signing one-time memoranda of agreement with its stakeholders, Hedcor allotted PHP20.5 million worth of CSR projects in its host communities in Luzon and Mindanao this year.
With a mindset of providing the young people a conducive place for learning and the opportunity to contribute in building A Better Future, the company’s biggest investment this year goes to education. This includes scholarships, student financial assistance, construction of classroom, computer and internet installation, a feeding program for public elementary pupils, rewiring schools, school supplies donation.

Other projects are focused on environment, enterprise development and health and well-being. These include medical and dental missions, school-based hygiene, wildlife and biodiversity protection, solid waste management promotion, emergency preparedness and first aid training, and local cooperative supports.
