

At some point, you’ve probably also been one of those wondering, ‘Anong oras kaya sahod?’ Whether it’s just out of curiosity, or out of significant need, it’s one of those questions that we all wish had an answer with absolute, and consistent, certainty.
Thanks to the FAB team’s innovation, that’s something we can check off our list. The Payroll at 6 initiative is a product of hypercollaboration among the FAB teams, business units, AEV HR partners, and AllSec outsource partners.
The initial target the team set was for payroll credit at 10AM, but they decided to push their limits and reach for the 6AM credit. To make this happen, the group made adjustments such as clean-up and standardization of pay codes, earlier sending of payroll inputs, use of Google sheet for faster payroll review, earlier finalization of paysheets, and uploading/sending of payroll bank transfer files to approvers a day before payout for scheduled credit the following day.
The initiative started in March and has been ongoing now for six months, in collaboration with 30 business units and 15 different approvers across the group. It was not an easy feat to bring together different teams and establish and implement a smooth and efficient process, but it definitely brought significant rewards.
