Apart But #OneAboitiz In Music

By Erika Tan

“Music is the language of the spirit. It opens the secret of life bringing peace, abolishing strife.” - Khalil Gibran

Staying connected might be something that is difficult to maintain while we are facing this pandemic, but A-People are determined to keep the connection alive through music and lyrics.

Last May 22,  the #OneAboitiz E-coustic Night went live on AGORA. It was a musical thanksgiving for our frontliners who have been working away from their families and to our fellow A-People who continuously share their effort by staying and working at home.

AEV Corporate HR and AP met up with performers representing different BUs in preparation for the #OneAboitiz E-coustic Night.

Performers from different business units — AEV, AboitizPower, Pilmico, Aboitiz Construction, and PETNET — serenaded A-People all over from the Aboitiz Group. Not only that they came from different business units, they are also from different regions. We had performers from Metro Manila, Cebu, Davao, Iligan, Baguio, and many more!

Lexy Salamat, PETNET

Live audiences were encouraged to tag and mention team members and frontliners to extend their appreciation and gratitude. To see everyone coming together to celebrate talent and show gratitude, this is true #OneAboitiz in action. Wanna relive the moment? Click here to watch the replay.

Together as #OneAboitiz we can surpass this pandemic stronger and more resilient than ever.
