
AP Renewables, Inc. (APRI) and Aboitiz Foundation were recognized by the National Resiliency Council (NRC) as an esteemed partner in the latter’s Adopt-a-Municipality project. In collaboration with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the Office of Civil Defense, the project links the public and private sectors to support and build the disaster resilience of local government units.
APRI and Aboitiz Foundation adopted the local government of Tiwi, Albay in 2019, supporting and funding a multi-year program that included risk assessments and mapping, capacity-building workshops, and other forms of technical assistance.
