Aboitiz Construction received the Gold Stevie® Award in the Building Sustainable Supply Chains category at the 13th annual Asia Pacific Stevie® Awards banquet on April 17, 2026, at The Venetian Hotel in Macao, China.
Aboitiz Construction has been honored with the Gold Stevie® Award for its sustainable supply chain innovations at the 2026 Asia Pacific Stevie Awards. The company’s winning entry, “Synchronized for Success: Delivering Better and Sustainable Value through Supply Chain Excellence,” took the top prize in the Building Sustainable Supply Chains category, a distinction that recognizes the Supply Chain and Equipment Management Division’s holistic supply chain framework and aggressive push toward full digitalization.
The award was presented during the 13th annual Asia Pacific Stevie® Award banquet held on April 17, 2026, at The Venetian Hotel in Macao, China, where industry leaders from across the region gathered to celebrate excellence in business.
Aboitiz Construction’s win was driven by digitalization and automation initiatives that improved efficiency across project sites nationwide and corporate offices. These included the Transportation and Asset Management System with GPS tracking for real-time fleet visibility, as well as FuelFlow, a QR-enabled platform integrated with enterprise resource planning software to streamline approvals and reduce idling waste.
The company also deployed Trimble machine control technology to improve precision engineering and launched a Warehouse Management System that enhanced material tracking and faster turnaround times.
These innovations delivered measurable business and environmental results. Procurement turnaround time improved by 30 percent, while inventory days were reduced from 90 to 45. Optimization of over 300 equipment units generated over US$2 million in maintenance savings, while fuel idling emissions dropped by 10.32 percent.
Beyond operational gains, Aboitiz Construction strengthened its social impact by achieving a 98 percent local vendor sourcing rate and increasing women in its workforce by 53 percent.
