With the on-going geo-political events as well as emerging regional tensions, insurance market, especially on Political Violence risks are increasingly challenging as far as premium rates and coverage.
Last Sep 20, 2023, with the objective to build and strengthen our relationship with the insurance market, the Risk Management Team hosted its political violence roadshow. Several international markets visited NAC Tower to better forge our partnership on providing better coverage for our political violence insurance.
Political violence insurance protects us from losses or damages due to acts or series of acts of violence or use of force for political, religious, and/or ideological purposes (e.g. Marawi siege, Resorts World incident, etc)
Together with the SBU heads and representatives, Aboitiz Group provided assurance that we have adequate risk treatment and security measures to manage and minimize exposures related to political violence. Aside from this, we also highlighted our group-wide ESG including CSR programs to showcase how we uplift our communities through entrepreneurial programs, scholarship programs for students, and climate action.
With the spirit of the Great Transformation, we continue to drive change and challenge our insurers to provide better services to the Aboitiz Group.
The roadshow was followed by simple cocktails which was an opportunity for the international markets to meet and socialize with Aboitiz heads and team members.
