As part of a shared commitment in powering the future of Iskolars ng Bayan, the Aboitiz Foundation, through Visayan Electric, was recognized by the University of the Philippine Cebu through the unveiling of the Centennial Gratitude Wall.
A hexagon brick on the university’s gratitude wall recognizes the donors and sponsors who have supported the lives and dreams of the UP students.

Last year, 12 UP Cebu students were chosen under the Aboitiz Foundation Future Leaders Scholarship Program and have received financial support for their education.
“A hexagon brick on a wall is a beautiful, permanent symbol. But the true legacy of this partnership will be written in the lives of our scholars: the engineers, scientists, creatives, and leaders who will shape the future,” said Visayan Electric Community Relations Manager Engr. Nino Paolo Cerrado during his message of acceptance.
By supporting and investing on the potential of the students, Visayan Electric and Aboitiz Foundation remain dedicated in empowering the next generation of leaders who will build a brighter tomorrow.
