Aboitiz Construction Holds One-Stop-Shop Recruitment Event in Tarlac City

Aboitiz Construction’s recruitment event in Tarlac last August 16 successfully hired new employees for its project site and reflects the company’s commitment to building for business to prosper and communities to thrive.

Aboitiz Construction held a successful recruitment one-stop-shop event last August 16 at the Brgy. Lourdes in Tarlac City. The event drew 374 applicants, eager to explore career opportunities with the company.

Held in partnership with Aboitiz InfraCapital, the job fair featured the participation of representatives from the Social Security System (SSS), Pag-IBIG Fund, and PhilHealth. This allowed applicants to conveniently process or update their employment requirements while looking for a new job.

The event was hosted by the local government officials of Brgy. Lourdes, led by Captain Arnold Bermudo, in coordination with Tarlac City PESO Manager Manuel Mendoza, Jr.

Seventeen applicants were hired on the spot, reflecting their strong potential for the organization. The recruits, including a scaffolder, an electrical technician, and a civil foreman, are expected to contribute to the swift completion of ongoing projects in Tarlac City. Additionally, over 65% are in the final stages of the hiring process, showcasing their promising qualifications and skills. The remaining candidates are undergoing further evaluation to assess their fit for current and future projects.

“This recruitment event is in line with our commitment to building for businesses to prosper and communities to thrive and a testament to our commitment to building strong, capable teams that will drive our projects forward. We are excited to see so many qualified candidates, and we look forward to helping them grow their careers with us,” said Aboitiz Construction Sr. AVP for People and Corporate Shared Services Raizza Manuel.

This event follows the firm’s Skills on Wheels Builders Hub launch on June 28 at The Outlets at Lipa, where essential training and recruitment were brought directly to communities. Aboitiz Construction is set to host more dynamic recruitment events throughout the year, offering further opportunities for individuals to join their growing team.

Encouraged by the success of the recruitment efforts in Tarlac City, Aboitiz Construction plans to hold another job fair in Visayas within the year.

Following this event, Aboitiz Construction continues to provide meaningful employment opportunities in the construction sector, further growing its team across various projects nationwide.

With this successful event, Aboitiz Construction continues to expand its workforce, contributing to the company’s growing manpower, which now totals nearly 4,000 employees across various projects.
