Aboitiz Construction Secures Taiheiyo Cement Site Development Works in Calaca, Batangas

Aboitiz Construction was awarded the Site Development Package for Taiheiyo Cement’s upcoming cement plant in Calaca, Batangas. The project is being carried out under the client Shimizu Philippine Contractors Inc. and is set to significantly contribute to the region’s infrastructure development.

The scope of the project includes essential site preparation work, such as earthworks, backfilling, and the construction of a retaining wall, all of which are crucial for establishing a solid foundation for the new cement production facility. A significant portion of the workforce will be locally sourced, contributing to the economic growth of the community.

The completion of this site development will support Taiheiyo Cement in its goal to produce high-quality cement, which will, in turn, help drive infrastructure projects throughout the region. This aligns with Aboitiz Construction’s transformative purpose of building for business to prosper and communities to thrive.

“This project is an exciting opportunity for Aboitiz Construction to play an integral role in the development of essential infrastructure materials. By ensuring the availability of quality cement for future projects, we are contributing to a better future for the Philippines,” said Levi Agoncillo, Aboitiz Construction’s Vice President for Business Development Construction.

As a Quadruple A licensed contractor, Aboitiz Construction continues to deliver quality projects across both heavy and light industries, as well as in infrastructure and maintenance services, helping businesses succeed and communities thrive.
