Aboitiz Construction Supports Brigada Eskwela in 11 Public Schools Nationwide

(TOP PHOTO) Aboitiz Construction, through its Project HOPE initiative, supported Brigada Eskwela 2025 by donating school materials and volunteering in eleven public schools across Cebu, Davao del Norte, Batangas, Surigao del Norte, and Tarlac City.

As part of its commitment to corporate citizenship, Aboitiz Construction joined the Department of Education’s annual Brigada Eskwela through its program, Project HOPE or Helping Our Public Education.

From May 30 to June 11, employee-volunteers from Aboitiz Construction visited a total of eleven schools across different regions in the country to donate school materials and take part in volunteer work.

The Brigada Eskwela efforts began on May 30 at Arpili Elementary School in Balamban, Cebu, followed by San Pedro Elementary School in Panabo City, Davao del Norte, on June 5.

On June 9, volunteers participated at Bagong Elementary School in Malvar, Batangas. Activities continued on June 11 at Hayanggabon Elementary School in Claver, Surigao del Norte.

On the same day, volunteers also mobilized in Tarlac City to support six elementary schools—Lourdes, Cutcut II, Don Pepe Cojuangco Homes, Asturias, and Balete—and two campuses of Central de Azucarera High School (Main and Annex).

In each location, Aboitiz Construction donated various school, repair, and cleaning supplies. They also worked alongside teachers and parents to clean classrooms and engage in gardening efforts to help improve the overall learning environment. These acts of service not only helped prepare schools for the opening of classes but also fostered a sense of unity and shared purpose among stakeholders.

“At Aboitiz Construction, we believe that meaningful change starts in our communities. Brigada Eskwela reflects the power of teamwork and the importance of shared responsibility in shaping a better future for the next generation. Through Project HOPE, we’re proud to support initiatives that enable access to quality education,” said Karmine Andrea Ching, Senior AVP for Business Transformation of Aboitiz Construction.

Brigada Eskwela remains a crucial initiative in strengthening the country’s public education system. By promoting volunteerism, teamwork, and community engagement, it brings together people from all walks of life to help create a safe and welcoming learning environment for Filipino students. Through Project HOPE, Aboitiz Construction continues to play an active role in supporting the future of education in the country.
