Aboitiz Land, in a collaborative effort led by the SCRUM and Development Teams (Squad Members: Bridgette Mananghac from the Collection Team, Merry Joy Salanga from IT Team, Jonathan Malijan from Collection Team, Ericka Rose Arenda from Collection Team & Ryan Kern from Treasury Team), along with Executive Sponsor Monique Paloma, achieved a significant milestone with the launch of Gaviti, an automated Accounts Receivable (A/R) collections solution.

THE BIG IDEA

Aboitiz Land marked a significant milestone with the launch of Gaviti, an automated Accounts Receivable (A/R) collections solution. This achievement follows six months of dedicated efforts, including meticulous data integration and workflow setup.

The integration process, linking SAP with Gaviti’s system, required determination and effective collaboration. Through collective resolve, critical data seamlessly merged, overcoming technical hurdles and ensuring a successful pilot project.

Bridgette Mananghac, Senior Manager of the Collection Team, emphasized, “This automated A/R collections solution will streamline our process and accelerate cash flow.”

“It will automate our manual and labor-intensive Accounts Receivable collection process, enhancing customer experience through fast and easy online payment options.” Jonathan, Customer Data Analyst of the Collection Team, added.

SYNERGY IN ACTION

This initiative was also a testament that this reimagined way of working is also guided by the practice of our A+10 behaviors. Adapting to the agile ways of working, the project team was to be versatile in being open to adapt to any changes easily and became synergetic in finding ways to resolve issues quickly.

This triumph is a testament to the commitment, diligence, and collaborative spirit embodied by the Aboitiz Land SCRUM team comprised of Bridgette Mananghac from the Collection Team, Merry Joy Salanga from the IT Team, Jonathan Malijan and Ericka Rose Arenda from the Collections Team, and Ryan Kern from the Treasury Team. Their efforts laid the bedrock for a seamless integration process. Meanwhile, the technical expertise of the IT team played a pivotal role in ensuring flawless data merging and integration.
