With a commitment to drive the organization’s revolution through a comprehensive, tech-driven approach, the Aboitiz Group formed the AEV Transformation team in 2022. Under the guidance of visionary leaders, the team has launched strategic activities and programs aimed at fostering an entrepreneurial and inventive culture among team members, enhancing profits, and leveraging advanced technologies to optimize processes and provide value to stakeholders. The team’s pillars of innovation focus on strategy and intent, process and practices, people and culture, organization and infrastructure, partnerships, and open innovation, as well as innovating how we innovate.
Future Co-Creation Program

The Transformation Team aspires to enhance the Aboitiz Group by advancing its flagship initiative, the Future Co-Creation program. The goal is to transform employee mindsets, cultivate a culture of corporate ingenuity, and utilize technology to redefine business practices. Ultimately, the aim is to effect a paradigm shift and guide the Aboitiz Group towards becoming the Philippines’ first Techglomerate.
The Future Co-creation initiative is centered around the Future Explorers program, which offers Workshops, Masterclasses, Coaching, and Project Coaching to all A-People. These resources provide essential knowledge for the Aboitiz Group’s Great Transformation. Notable activities executed under this program include the GT2 Workshop in collaboration with Aboitiz Academy, the Aboitiz Group IT workshop, and the “Imagine If” sessions.
In the second phase of the Program, participants within the Group have the opportunity to join the future co-creation Voyage either voluntarily or through team leader selection. This is a 12-week intensive solution generation program where teams with innovative business solutions are guided by experienced professionals and coaches from ideation to execution. At the end of the Voyage, an Investment Committee selects the best solutions to be implemented in the next phase of the Program, known as “Foundry.”
Foundry Launcher teams are working on implementing the solution ideas in the form of startups or new products and services within Strategic Business Units. Currently, 13 foundry teams are working on revolutionizing various industries such as health, construction, agri-tech, information analytics, food science, and carbon capture.
