Aboitiz Construction Builds a Better Future At Nationwide One-Stop Recruitment Events

RECRUITMENT ONE-STOP SHOP. Aboitiz Construction's Recruitment One-Stop-Shop (ROSS) events across five provinces connected hundreds of job seekers with opportunities, supported by LGUs, PESO, and key employment agencies.

True to its commitment to nation building, Aboitiz Construction successfully conducted Recruitment One-Stop-Shop (ROSS) activities across five provinces, providing job opportunities for hundreds of applicants eager to join its project teams nationwide.

The recruitment events took place in the following areas: The Outlets at Lipa in Batangas on June 28, Brgy. Lourdes in Tarlac City on August 16, Guihulngan City in Negros Oriental on November 13, and simultaneous events in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, and Teresa, Rizal on December 6.

Across all locations, Aboitiz Construction hired 145 candidates on the spot out of the 855 applicants who participated in said events. Many of the successful candidates are now deployed in Aboitiz Construction’s project sites in Batangas, Tarlac, Cebu, and Surigao del Norte. Almost 50% of the remaining applicants are currently undergoing further evaluation for potential deployment in upcoming projects.

ROSS underscores the company’s commitment to creating meaningful opportunities and strengthening local communities as part of its broader purpose of building for business to prosper and communities to thrive.

By connecting directly with local talent, we create meaningful career opportunities that support both our project goals and regional economic growth. We’re excited to welcome new team members and look forward to achieving great things together.

-Raizza Manuel, Sr. AVP for People and Corporate Shared Services, Aboitiz Construction
Unlike usual recruitment activities, Aboitiz Construction's Recruitment One-Stop-Shop (ROSS) integrates the Skills on Wheels platform, which not only facilitates hiring but also brings scaffolding and welding training directly to interested individuals within their communities.

The events were held in partnership with local government units and the Public Employment Services Office (PESO) in each area, ensuring a smooth and accessible application process. Representatives from the Social Security System (SSS), Pag-IBIG Fund, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), PhilHealth, Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Philippine National Police, and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) were also present to assist applicants with employment requirements.

Through this event, Aboitiz Construction is contributing to nation-building by strengthening its workforce and adding valuable talent to support its growing operations nationwide. With over 4,000 team members now engaged across various projects throughout the country this year, the company plays a crucial role in driving progress and development across the Philippines.
