Aboitiz Power Corporation (AboitizPower) won “Best Employer Brand Transformation Journey” at the TalentView People Insight Awards 2026 for its Employee Value Proposition (EVP), #POWERyourFuture, and its drivers: being powered by people, owning growth, meaningful work, an empowering culture, and recognition that matters.
“We recognized that an EVP should reflect what team members genuinely value,” explained AboitizPower Chief Human Resources Officer Monette Lasala. “This required every human resources team to understand its role in delivering the employee promise across the entire talent journey.”
“To reinforce this shift, we integrated our Internal Communications and Employee Engagement with Talent Attraction, ensuring one team could steward the employer brand from attraction through engagement and advocacy.”
Supported by research and validation, AboitizPower’s human resources team reinforced the EVP into various internal communication activities to enhance the employee experience. This includes organization-wide bulletins and newsletters, an employee referral program, people and total rewards initiatives, and town hall meetings.
Efforts to amplify authentic employee stories through recruitment marketing, campus engagements, digital campaigns, and employee ambassadorship were also done.
Overall, these served to strengthen the organization’s capability to attract, engage, develop, and retain talent.
According to TalentView, the award “[shines] a spotlight on organizations that have positioned themselves as desirable workplaces, stand out amidst fierce competition, and earn the trust and admiration of employees and job seekers alike”.
The People Insight Awards celebrate great transformations and future-forward thinkers in employer branding, talent innovation, and employee engagement across the ASEAN region.
“Our greatest learning was that employer brand transformation is not about creating a new EVP—it is about validating what already resonates, embedding it into everyday experiences, and empowering employees to become authentic ambassadors,” Lasala said.
For 2026, AboitizPower was also included in Kalibrr’s “Top 50 Employers in the Philippines”, Prosple’s “Top 100 Graduate Employers”, and the Brand Finance Philippines 50 report.
